This class will explore the relationship between diabetes and emotions, thought and behavior, as well as social considerations, with the goal of improving diabetes self management.

Many factors can impact diabetes symptoms and how a person self-manages the disease. This class will explore the relationship between diabetes and emotions, thought and behavior, as well as social considerations, with the goal of improving diabetes self management.

You will learn:
• What psychosocial factors are commonly associated with diabetes
• Differences between depression and diabetes-related distress
• How modifying psychosocial factors can improve diabetes management
