Community outreach

Salem Health strives to improve the health and well-being of the people and communities we serve. Every year, we give back to the community in a number of ways, including investing in community programs and events, enlisting our more than 5,000 employees to volunteer and serve on local nonprofit boards, and partnering with local organizations to meet the needs of our most vulnerable populations.

Some of the organizations we have supported in the past include:

  • Liberty House
  • Family Building Blocks
  • Salem Free Clinic
  • Mid-Willamette Valley Homeless Alliance
  • United Way
  • Salem Angels
  • Mano a Mano
  • The Gate
  • Northwest Human Services
  • Love, Inc.
  • Polk County CASA
