Salem Health outpatient wound clinics
Salem Health has two outpatient wound clinic locations to serve our community. Our goal is to heal wounds quickly and completely.
We treat:
- Diabetic wounds
- Infected wounds
- Non-healing surgical wounds
- Pressure ulcers (sores)
- Traumatic wounds
- Wounds caused by circulatory issues
In collaboration with your primary care provider, we follow a complete set of wound care procedures to address your exact needs.
Our medical team consists of a provider that specializes in wound care, a team of experienced wound care nurses; and friendly, helpful support staff. We are dedicated to healing you as a whole, not just your wound.
Our clinical approach focuses on rapid healing while also addressing the underlying causes of your wounds. We use best practice methods that have shown to heal most wounds. You can expect a personalized treatment plan followed by education focusing on self-care, nutrition and exercise to prevent wound problems from coming back.
Treatment consists of all or some of the following:
- Biological cellular tissue
- Compression therapy
- Infection control
- Negative pressure wound therapy
- Thorough cleaning and removal of devitalized tissue
Whether you have a diabetic wound, a pressure ulcer (sore) or a non-healing wound, we have the multidisciplinary team of health professionals to help.
We care about your comfort during healing. From our private treatment rooms, to warm blankets and our dedicated care team — we are here for you.
If you have questions about your care at any time, we are more than happy to answer them.
