Gail Armstrong, Keynote Speaker About our 2020 keynote speaker, Gail Armstrong, PhD, DNP, ACNS-BC, CNE: Dr. Gail Armstrong, Professor & Assistant Dean of the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) School of Nursing, works to align OHSU’S DNP program curriculum with the skills needed by today’s nursing leaders.

Dr. Armstrong’s most recent clinical practice was in Colorado, where she served as faculty for the Institute of Healthcare Quality, Safety and Efficiency. Her recent scholarship focuses on what is needed to develop high-functioning teams in health care. She was the primary editor of the recently published text, Leadership and Systems Improvement for the DNP.
