Certified American Heart Association CPR courses that keep cards valid for two years are offered monthly at Salem Health

The Community Health Education Center (CHEC) at Salem Health is the only American Heart Association authorized training center in the region.
Classes are offered monthly and the next course is set for 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18 at the Wedel Conference Center in the basement of Building B at Salem Hospital, SE 890 Oak Street.
Certification is required for many professionals, from childcare workers to emergency responders such as police and fire safety personnel. This CPR certificate includes Adult, Child and Infant classifications.
The course fee of $85 includes the current Heartsaver manual, which is mailed to students registering at least five business days prior to class date.
