Schedule your free breast and cervical cancer screening
Oct 08, 2015
Salem Cancer Institute and Salem Free Clinic, in partnership with community providers, are offering free breast and cervical cancer screenings on Saturday, Oct. 17, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Salem Free Clinic, 1300 Broadway St. NE, Salem.
If you are female, age 21 to 64, and uninsured or unable to afford health screenings, you may qualify for a free Pap test and clinical breast exam. Women over the age of 40 will receive a mammogram voucher.
“We are asking women who can’t afford screenings or regular doctor visits to make their health a priority,” said Nancy Boutin, MD, Salem Cancer Institute. “Cancer touches many lives and the earlier it can be detected, the better it can be treated. It is important that everyone has access to this care.”
Please call Salem Cancer Institute at 503-562-4321 for more information and to schedule an appointment. Appointments must be scheduled in advance.
