Eric J. Putz, MD

Bio
Dr. Eric Putz joins Salem Health as a board certified cardiac electrophysiologist born in Seattle, Washington and raised in the Pacific Northwest. Dr. Putz attended medical school at the University of Washington School of Medicine, completing his internal medicine internship at the University of California, San Francisco followed by his internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at Stanford University. Dr. Putz then returned to the UCSF to complete his training in cardiac electrophysiology. Dr. Putz has been in practice since 2002, where he practiced privately in Portland, Oregon before joining Legacy health system in 2014. In 2018, Dr. Putz joined the Hawaii Permanente Group in Honolulu before returning to Oregon in 2020. In his free time, Dr. Putz enjoys spending time with family exploring the trails, mountains and seashores of Pacific Northwest and beyond. He is happy to be back in Oregon and looks forward to growing the cardiology practice at Salem Health.
