Bio
Dr. Taksali moved to Oregon from Southern California in 2012. When he is not caring for patients, he enjoys music and photography, is a huge sports fan and loves to play basketball (though he rarely gets the chance to play). More than anything, he loves spending time with his family. Dr. Taksali is particularly interested in nutrition and feels that nutrition offers us the potential to cure diseases as opposed to managing symptoms with medications. He has pursued a plant-based diet since 2011 and participated in a documentary on diet and health called Eating You Alive. Dr. Taksali is passionate about communicating with his patients and sees communication as the foundation to develop mutual trust, as the majority of his patients have been through trauma.
