Donations are gladly accepted!

We welcome donations of new items for our patients. If you’re unable to volunteer at the hospital but you want to get involved with our volunteers program, donations are a great way to help.

Because many of our patients are fragile and susceptible to infection, donations need to be clean and free of any pet hair or fragrance. Handmade pillows and blankets need to be prewashed to avoid any contaminants (including pet hair) and from a smoke-free environment.

There is always a need for:

• Heart-shaped pillows (we will provide a pattern)
• Activities for patients, such as crossword puzzles, word search, playing cards, crayons, coloring books, etc.

We are unable to accept used donations.

All donations should be delivered to:

Volunteer Services Office
Salem Hospital, Building B, first floor
Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
