Volunteer van drivers needed!

If you have a heart for helping others, consider becoming a Connections Van driver. Enjoy the sights and sounds of Dallas and surrounding Polk County communities while helping people who rely on this transportation service to reach their medical appointments.

Fill out a volunteer application to become our next driver and make a big difference in the lives of the people we serve! 

Requirements

• Current valid Oregon Driver’s License
• Criminal background and finger print check
• Accident-free driving record
• Great references
• Over 18 years
• Commit to 6 months — of course you can stay longer!
• Time to shadow other volunteers

Training is provided!

Still want to volunteer inside the hospital too? No problem. Van driving can be combined with another volunteer position in the hospital. Couples/driving teams welcome!

Drivers must commit to a minimum of one shift per week. Shifts are weekdays, 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 12:30 to 4 p.m. 

We also need substitute (on-call) drivers.
