Salem Health partnered with Family Building Blocks to offer a free dinner and community health fair at Houck Middle School on April 19. About 800 people registered to attend the event.

Community members of all ages took part in everything from educational games and face painting to meeting Huggy Bear, plus a Great Dane therapy dog.

Around 200 Salem Health medical providers and employees volunteered for the event and gave tips on staying healthy at booths stationed around the gym, while others help serve dinner to families.
