Bio
Dr. Platteau was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela and completed her pediatric residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida before moving on to OHSU for neonatal perinatal medicine. Besides taking care of premature infants and sick term infants in the NICU, she is passionate about advocating for practices that promote healthy brain development and minimize the risks of long-term neurodevelopmental impairments. Dr Platteau is responsible of Salem Health's NICU follow-up clinic, and hopes to continue growing the clinic in order to best support our community. She also speaks Spanish fluently.
