Building D’s fifth floor, unit D5, is a new 40-bed unit opening on Oct. 24. The space was designed by a large interdisciplinary team and developed to be a “flex” unit.
Medical Telemetry will be the first tenants of the unit, relocating on Oct. 24. Patients will begin discharging out of 4S during the weekend of Oct. 22, and will begin admitting into the new D5 Unit as of 10:00 a.m. on Oct. 24.
