The Nominating Committee is grateful for the interest and support from medical staff members interested in serving our community. After careful consideration, the Committee recommends Dr. Marc Sunday, DO, to the medical staff as the candidate for president-elect.
Dr. Sunday, an adult hospitalist with Salem Clinic, is board-certified in internal medicine. He’s our Primary Care Department Chair; member of the Medical Executive Committee; and active member of the medical staff since July 2013.
As defined in our Medical Staff bylaws, candidates for the future Medical Staff President-Elect position are selected by a Nominating Committee comprised of the current medical staff president, medical staff president-elect (vacant) and three past presidents.
