Epic upgrade goes live Oct. 15

All the tips and details to get ready

Everything you need to know about the Epic upgrade is below (or just ask):

• There will be a downtime from 2 to 4 a.m. on Oct. 15.
• Review the tip sheets in the provider folders on the Epic Upgrade SharePoint page. (You will have to log in with your Epic username and password.) Click “Epic” in the purple toolbar at the top of the homepage and follow the links.
• Inpatient providers, please log into HealthStream and review the overview of changes.
• If you view scanned documents or forms in Epic, please note this temporary workaround:
  • When you click on a document in Epic, a tip sheet will launch and direct you to the right database.
  • After the command center window closes and the behind-the-scenes work is complete, documents will simply open when you click their link.

The command center will be standing by to provide assistance and resolve issues after 4 a.m. Call 503-814-4357 or use the form in the “get help” section of the IS Service Portal (found under Tools & Resources on the homepage. Log in with your Epic username and password).
