The presidency isn’t the only issue that will be decided this November. Two measures on Oregon’s general election ballot could impact funding for health care — and you can vote on them. That is, if you’re a registered voter.

You can register to vote online, with a printed registration form in the mail or in person at your county elections office. The Secretary of State’s office provides more registration details online.

The deadline to register is 21 days before Election Day. That means your last day to register is Oct. 18, 2016 if you want to vote in this year’s election.

You need to update your registration if you move, change your name or mailing address, or want to select or change your political party.

If you are a registered Oregon voter, your ballot should come in the mail two to three weeks before Election Day. You can mail it back or drop it off at a designated drop box site, but it must be received by 8 p.m. on Election Day (Tuesday, Nov. 8) to be counted.
