Back and neck pain is a common problem, affecting approximately 80% of adults at some point in their life.
Pain in the neck can travel down into your arm or hand(s). Back pain can travel down your leg and sometimes down into your foot. Some episodes improve quickly, some can take months or even years to improve.
Here at the Salem Health Spine Center, we understand that managing your pain can be confusing, frustrating, and downright worrisome. While it can be scary to go through episodes of pain in and around your spine, there is very rarely a serious medical condition causing your symptoms.
Our goal is to screen out the worrisome issues, or, if they are present, get you in quickly to see a neurosurgeon.
Once those worrisome issues are ruled out, we will work to help you get in touch with a specialist who can help you manage your symptoms and improve your quality of life. These providers may be physical therapist, interventional pain specialist, physiatrist or other spine specialists within our community.
