Providers can now access UpToDate in many places while working in Epic. For example, if you’re ordering Lisinopril and want to review its drug interactions, just clicking “active guidelines” takes you directly to Lisinopril specific content.
You’ll be prompted to create an individual user account for UpToDate when accessing through Epic. Once complete, providers can then use these same credentials to log into the UpToDate mobile application. Creating an account lets UpToDate track CME hours automatically while reviewing content.
