Carrie A. Scheckla, NNP

Carrie Scheckla, MN, NNP-BC, is a neonatal nurse practitioner (NNP). She sees patients in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) and specializes in caring for extremely low birth weight and critically ill newborns. She has worked as an NNP since 2006, beginning her career at Randall Children’s Hospital in Portland before making Salem Hospital her home in 2011. Carrie is passionate about developmental care and family integrated care in the NICU. Outside the hospital setting, she enjoys spending time with her family.
