Barbara J. Torres, CNM

Bio
Barbara has been a midwife for 18 years. She initially worked for 15 years at a community health center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, followed by four years in Portland. She has a passion for supporting women, building trust and helping them find their strengths. She views each woman and their family as unique and deserving of personalized, evidence-based care in all stages of life. Additionally, she is pursuing certification as a menopause practitioner. She enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, bird-watching and baking.

Interests
Along with providing full scope midwifery care, Barbara has special clinical interest in providing care in a group setting, and supporting women throughout their lives, including the transition through menopause.
