Bio
Dr. Michael Schiedler is an Oregon native and attended his undergraduate training at Oregon State University studying bioengineering and went to work for SIGA Technologies in Corvallis, OR after he graduated. During his time there he worked on smallpox and dengue virus antivirals and decided to apply to medical school. Dr. Schiedler attended Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences in Yakima, WA graduating in 2014 and performed his internal medicine residency and general cardiology fellowship training at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis, OR graduating in 2020. He then finished his training in interventional cardiology at Providence Southfield Hospital through Michigan State University. Dr. Schiedler sees general cardiology patients along with those with advanced coronary and peripheral vascular disease. During his interventional training year he took a special interest in peripheral vascular procedures for both venous and arterial disease. During his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife and four children camping, hiking, fishing, deer hunting, and staying active as much as possible with all that Oregon has to offer.
Interests
Along with coronary disease and general cardiac medicine, Dr. Schiedler is passionate about peripheral arterial disease management and preventive cardiac care through healthy lifestyle changes.
