Bio
Dr. Sakon received his Bachelor's degree from the University of California, Berkeley in Molecular and Cell Biology, and received his MD from Vanderbilt University in 1999, and did his internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He has a special interest in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery including DaVinci robotic surgery, as well as a special interest in abnormal cervical cytology and colposcopy. When he is not caring for patients, he plays soccer regularly and heads to the mountains for snow skiing or mountaineering.
