Darby Jalbert grew up in a small town near Boulder, Colorado. Prior to becoming a physician associate, she worked as a medical scribe in an emergency department in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, then attended the physician associate program at Midwestern University in Illinois from 2017 to 2019. Prior to joining Salem Health, Darby spent two years practicing as a physician associate in vascular surgery at Advanced Vascular Therapy in Salem. In her free time, Darby enjoys spending time with her friends, family and cats, as well as hiking, working out and traveling.

Interests
Along with practicing vascular surgery, Darby Jalbert has special clinical interests in preventive care, nutrition and exercise counseling, and acute care medicine.
