Bio
Megan was born and raised in Kailua, Hawaii, but relocated to Salem after finishing her BSN at Creighton University. After graduating, she started her nursing career with Salem Health, spending the first four years in critical care and the next six in emergency medicine. She believes in developing relationships with patients based on trust and open communication. She enjoys soccer, paddle boarding, live music, travel, and doing site visits with her certified First Responder Therapy Dog (a Golden Retriever).
Interests
Along with practicing family medicine, Megan has special clinical interests in emergency medicine, dermatology, oncology, pediatrics and minor office procedures. She spent 3 years before her nursing career as a pediatric bone marrow transplant trial clinical coordinator which peaked her interest in pursuing a clinical career.
