Hannah V. Hayes, MD

Bio
Dr. Hayes joins Salem Hospital from Portland -- but was born and raised in the United Kingdom. As a trauma and acute care surgeon, she believes in patient-centered, evidence-based care to earn her patients' trust, often during their worst days as they recover from injuries or disease. She enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 husky-mix dogs, hiking, snow sports, traveling and soccer (both playing and watching her favourite team, Newcastle United).

Interests
As a trauma and general surgeon, Dr. Hayes treats emergent surgical disease and traumatic injuries of all ages. She has special interests in injury prevention, trauma education in the community and post-injury care.
