Bio
Dr. Elizabeth Windell (she/her) trained and studied throughout the western United States, from California to Oregon to Arizona, then returned to practice trauma and acute care general surgery for two years in Portland before relocating to Salem where she continues to provide high quality trauma and general surgery care to patients of all ages. In addition to her work with traumatically injured patients and providing for acute care general surgery needs, Dr. Windell explores injury prevention and community outreach and education. She also carries special interests in surgical critical care, minimally invasive surgery and the management of complex hernias. When she's not working, Dr. Windell loves to spend time with her family, cook, travel and explore her native state of Oregon.
Interests
As a general and trauma surgeon, Dr. Windell treats acute surgical disease and traumatic injuries in patients of all ages.
