Bio
Dr. Patrick O'Herron (he/him) completed both medical school and an internship at the University of Arizona, then did his residency at OHSU. He practiced as a community general surgeon in McMinnville prior to joining the trauma and acute care surgery service at Salem Hospital. He uses a wide lens to track health trends, and is particularly interested in how large trends affect public health, such as the health threats related to global climate change, nuclear proliferation and environmental degradation. In addition to his practice, he is the board president of Oregon Physicians for Social Responsibility.
Interests
Dr. O'Herron's clinical interests include caring for acutely ill and injured surgical patients with a wide range of disease processes.
