Dr. Plato met his wife during fellowship and they relocated to Miami, Florida for her fellowship. He practiced cardiothoracic surgery there before relocating to Denver, Colorado. They have two adorable shiba inu dogs and a brand new baby girl, their first.

Special interests include adult cardiac surgery, including aortic surgery, aortic and mitral valve surgery, coronary revascularization and TAVR.
