No matter your field, all of us together can help stop the line and ensure no patient, employee or provider harm is acceptable to us.
But we need your expertise to spot the gaps. As providers, you know best what works and what doesn’t. This year, our Patient Safety Survey runs from Aug. 24 through Sept. 14 and I strongly encourage you to take it and answer honestly. It takes just 10 to 15 minutes to complete but the results could impact our work and beyond.
The survey is completely confidential and will be conducted by Press Ganey this year as part of our regulatory requirements.
Even if you don’t think you have an impact, I want you assure you, you do. I see it every day on our campuses and in our clinics and read about it in the many thankful, glowing emails and letters I receive from patients you’ve diligently cared for. Excellence is just what we do at Salem Health, whether it’s hidden in the mundane or highlighted on the screen, and it makes me incredibly proud.
