Watch for complete details in the May 13 Common Ground about Salem Health’s Woodburn clinic opening soon! The ribbon cutting has been set for May 4 with Woodburn Greeters and local officials. The clinic will open May 7.
“Like most places in the country, Woodburn needs more access to care,” said Bahaa Wanly, chief operating officer and vice president, Salem Health Medical Group. “We all know the frustration of waiting for an appointment to see our provider. Our aim is to give families in the mid-valley quicker access to the care they need.”
Salem Health is also the title sponsor of Woodburn Chemeketa’s Cinco de Mayo celebration on May 4 and 5. Salem Health will have a booth at the festival. Community members will have the opportunity to speak with clinic staff and/or members of the Salem Health Community Health Education Center Friday evening and all day Saturday. The CHEC will also be providing free blood pressure screenings at the booth from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday.
