Did you know that Salem Health is in the process of becoming a “Baby Friendly” organization? Women’s and Children’s Services has been on that path for several years and is preparing for our site visit to earn this designation on April 6 and 7. As a Baby Friendly organization, we uphold the World Health Organization/UNICEF Ten Steps to Successful Breastfeeding, and we support a mother's informed decision on how to feed her baby.
