Universal masking update

27 Feb 2022

No current plans to lift mask requirements in health care settings

As Oregon’s COVID hospitalizations continue to decrease, the Oregon Health Authority announced that it will lift the indoor mask requirements in schools and for the general public on March 19, 2022. We know everyone, patients, visitors and employees are ready to stop wearing masks, however, OHA has no current plans to lift mask requirements in health care settings.

We have made a change to the standard work for universal masking. Individuals who are vaccinated may remove their mask in meetings while actively eating and drinking. Unvaccinated individuals may not eat or drink in meetings rooms. You can review the updated standard work by visiting the COVID-19 Resource page.
