The physicians of Salem Heart Center (SHC) and Salem CardioVascular Associates (SCVA) have expanded cardiology services in the region through a merger to create the new Oregon Heart Center, effective Jan. 1, 2017.

They are practicing at Salem Heart Center’s current location to maintain seamless patient care during the transition. Services previously available at both clinics will continue and eventually expand due to advantages through this merger. To increase convenience for patients, satellite clinics are available in Dallas, Stayton and Grand Ronde.

“We are excited to extend our work with the Oregon Heart Center and Cascade Cardiology as well, as we foster physician leadership and integrated care delivery options in a system that prioritizes the best possible outcomes for our community,” said Brandon Schmidgall, director of Salem Health Cardiovascular Services.
