Sunquest upgrade goes live June 14

Epic interface downtime

On Sunday, June 14, the lab management system, Sunquest will be upgraded to a new version. There will be downtime from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. when the Epic interface to lab will be offline. This will impact all Salem Health locations including West Valley and Salem Health Medical Group clinics. Here’s what you need to know:

• While the system is offline, all orders for lab can continue to be entered into Epic.
• The lab will follow their downtime procedures.
• Only stat labs will be ran at this time. All stat results will be sent via fax.
• All results received during the downtime window will be updated in Epic as part of the recovery process.
