SSO access available to more sites on shared workstations

28 Mar 2021

Change reduces log-in time and improves workflow

By: Jeremy Bogan, information services business relations administrator

To reduce log in time and improve overall workflow, staff will have the ability to use Single Sign On (SSO) capability through Imprivata to access a number of sites as of March 11. These sites include:

  • WebExchange
  • Sharepoint
  • RL6 (PSA)
  • iSite/PACS

Staff using shared workstations will use the “SH Chrome” icon when accessing these sites. Users on individual PCs will use their normal Chrome or Internet Explorer browser. More points to know:

  • Wyse devices will still require user credentials, but the badge out feature will close the browser.
  • For shared workstations, the SH Chrome browser will close when the next staff member badges in.
  • Nurse managers/ANMs will not be able to use the “SH Chrome” icon for the following:
  • API Laborworkx Scheduling Grid
  • Open Shift Notifications
  • Current Staffing Overview
