Security screening now at Building M, Uglow, Edgewater, Cardiology, State Street lab

Security screening for patients and visitors began Wednesday, Sept. 20, at the following locations:

• Building M (Salem Health Rehabilitation Center)
• Salem Health Medical Clinic – Uglow Ave.
• Salem Health Medical Clinic – Edgewater
• Salem Health Specialty Clinic – Cardiology
• Salem Health Laboratory – State Street

And, starting Wednesday, Sept. 27, these locations will also have security screening:

• Salem Health Medical Clinic – Keizer
• Salem Health Medical Clinic – Boulder Creek
• Salem Health Medical Clinic – Monmouth

If you enter through a security screening site, you will be screened. To avoid this, use staff-only badge-access entrances. Here’s a map of those entrances on the Salem Hospital campus:

Remember: When entering a badge-access entrance, do not allow patients and visitors to “tailgate” and enter behind you by holding the door open for them. Patients and visitors must enter through a security screening site.

Here are ALL the locations (as of Sept. 27) with security screening for patients and visitors. Please help direct them!

• Building A: Emergency Department entrance (24 hours)
• Building A: Main (north) entrance (5 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily)
• Building B: Northwest entrance (6 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily)
• Building C: Main entrance (6 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily)
• Building C: Basement – patient parking building entry (6 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily)
• Building D: East entrance (6 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily)
• Building M (Salem Health Rehabilitation Center): Main entrance (7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday)

Salem Health Urgent Care – Woodburn

• Main entrance (7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday)

We will announce future go-lives as we continue to work through the phases at all our locations using our threat assessment based on volume, literature review and our SAFER matrix.
