We are excited to welcome Salem Clinic hospitalist clinicians to the Salem Health Medical Group, in two phases, the first being employment and then merging of operations.
Clinicians joining us will become employed starting April 10. In this first phase, their current operational workflows and Epic treatment teams will remain in place. They will continue to see Salem Clinic primary care empaneled patients. Over the next two months, we will work together to update shift timing, define new roles, better understand staffing needs, standardize documentation and redesign workflows.
Phase two begins June 6, when we merge our day-to-day operations, including transitions of treatment teams and merging of patient census. We will provide more communication regarding the June transition, as we get closer.
