The West Valley Hospital Medical Executive Committee (MEC) previously shared its nominees for the incoming President-Elect in this April 21 story.

The WVH MEC has two President-Elect positions opening with the outgoing Medical Staff President on Tuesday, Dec. 31, and the current vacant President-Elect position.

Due to the length of time since the previous posting, the MEC is reposting the nominee list with clarity on terms and if there are other interested individuals, please see contact information below and respond by Sunday, Oct. 13

Per the Medical Staff Bylaws, ballots will be sent out to the Active and Courtesy Medical Staff members for vote. 

President-Elect nominee

Effective immediately in 2024 upon Medical Staff vote. This President-Elect position will transition to Medical Staff President effective Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2025.

Corey Goldberg, MD

West Valley Hospital Emergency Department

  • Board-Certified in Emergency Medicine.
  • Active member of the West Valley Hospital Medical Staff since May 2023 and held a previous appointment from June 2018 to August 2022.

Previous leadership experience:

  • Previous West Valley Hospital Medical Staff President, May 2021 to May 2022.
