The Type and Cross order was updated as part of the 19.2 Go Live in October 2019. A Special Requirements section was added to better indicate when a patient needed a Special Requirement such as “Irradiated.” The duplicative Irradiated question has since been removed to alleviate confusion. The Special Requirements section will cross encounters if indicated. Please see attached tip sheet for further information and screenshots.
