It has come to the attention of Salem Health Laboratories that the laboratory interface between Salem Health and Peace Health Laboratory is not functioning properly. Our reference laboratory, Peace Health, switched to a new electronic medical record system in October 2016. Salem Health conducted testing with Peace Health before going live and did not identify any barriers.
Since go-live we have identified numerous interface errors including partial results, incomplete results, or no lab results at all. In the interim, Salem Health Laboratory is working diligently behind the scenes to verify all results sent out to the community clinics. Salem Health is meeting with Peace Health this week to address the issues and resolve this matter.
