Charles Hatchette, MD, for his consistent compassion and willingness to help regardless of whether it’s his patient; plus his positive influence in general as a neurosurgeon in the NTCU. Nomination by Nicole Klaus.
William Zhong, MD, for his proactive approach in prepping and rearranging surgery for a patient with C-diff. His plan not only improve the patient’s care, but helped prevent the spread of infection and increased the efficiency of all staff involved. Nominated by Kelly Blanco.
