"Should Men Be Screened for Prostate Cancer?" is next in the free monthly Primary Care Series on Wednesday, Feb. 13, from 7 to 8 a.m. in the Kaizen Classroom, Building B, second floor. Breakfast is included.

Speakers: Anju Ganeshappa, MD and Jaffer Bashey, MD; and Nancy Reyes-Molyneux, MD.

Learning objectives

  1. Understand the controversy regarding patient safety alert screening and national organization guidelines.
  2. Recognize and manage high-risk patients.
  3. Learn patient scenarios to better understand the risks and benefits of PSA screening.

This session is for PCPs, hospitalists, internal medicine and other interested health care professionals.

Accreditation: Salem Health is accredited by the Oregon Medical Association to sponsor continuing medical education for physicians. You can earn one hour in AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM.
