19 Jan 2020

Awaiting Jan. 21 Salem City Council decision

Housing and homelessness are significant issues for our community. You may have heard that Salem’s City Council is considering Pringle Community Hall in Pringle Park as a temporary homeless shelter. Pringle Park abuts the parking lot behind Building B. City Council will make a decision at a meeting on January 21. Salem Health has met with the City to discuss our concerns as well as our support in finding a long-term solution to the issue. We will keep you apprised of the situation.
