Remodeling has begun in Building E, our psychiatric medicine center, to address ligature risks to patients. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services requires the work. The impact will mostly be seen in our emergency department where patients are held when beds are not available.

To minimize impacts, this project will be completed in multiple phases ending this September. Two rooms at a time will be out of service as we work. Census will be evaluated at each phase. Additional rooms may be taken out of service, if census allows.

We know this is a big impact to your daily work and are working to expedite construction when possible. Thanks for your understanding and cooperation.
