Pharmacy update: Limited on-hand medications for glaucoma

09 Dec 2018

Check our list of what we do (and don’t) supply

Pharmacy & Therapeutics approved limiting the number and type of medications we carry for maintenance treatment of glaucoma. Many patients use only a few doses, with much of the medication wasted because we don’t have a good mechanism to send these medications home easily and legally.

If an eye drop we no longer supply is ordered, an alternative will show the options we do provide. Just like inhalers, if a patient must continue on their home regimen, we will ask them to bring their eye drops from home.

Options available through the Inpatient Pharmacy
