Legislation passed in 2019 (HB 4143) created a requirement for all prescribing practitioners with DEA numbers to register with the Prescription Drug Monitoring Program by July 1, 2018. This includes advanced practice registered nurses, nurse practitioners, midwives, dentists and naturopaths.
