Legislation passed in 2018 (HB 4143) created a requirement (read: mandate) for all prescribing practitioners with DEA numbers to register with the Prescription Drug Monitoring Program by July 1, 2018. This includes advanced practice RNs, nurse practitioners, midwives, dentists and naturopaths.
