Oregon Medical Board now using CME Passport to access credits

06 Oct 2024

Learn CME reporting changes

By: Dana Hawkes, RN, Director of Clinical and Medical Staff Development and Support Services

Your medical specialty board may no longer be accepting self-reported Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits — for example, The American Board of Surgery.

The Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) has created CME Passport, which is a free, centralized web application that enables you to find, track and manage your CME.

The Oregon Medical Board is now using CME Passport to access your CME and Maintenance of Certification (MOC) credits for license verification.

Salem Health will be participating by uploading your CME credit to the CME Passport for all CME activities we provide.

What do you need to do?

Create a CME Passport account here. You can opt-out by contacting April Gavin or Yelena Seroshtan at CMEOffice@salemhealth.org.
