We have reached our go-live for Oregon Heart Center, our newest Community Connect partner. On June 13, center providers will begin using Epic as their electronic medical record.
Information Services will be running a command center to support Oregon Heart Center as they begin their journey.
What is Community Connect?
Community Connect is Epic’s model for creating collaborative health care networks.
It enables hospitals and health systems, like Salem Health, to extend Epic to community practices.
This allows us to improve the health of the community by having an integrated health record for our shared patients.
How many Community Connect partners do we have?
Salem Clinic went live as our first Community Connect partner in 2016. We are excited to apply our shared learning to Oregon Heart’s go-live and operationalization.
