We’re pleased to announce that Mitch Wasden, Ed.D. has agreed to join OHSU as executive vice president and chief executive officer of OHSU Healthcare. Mitch joins us from University of Missouri Health Care where he currently serves as CEO and previously served as chief operating officer. His anticipated start date is March 1.
This position reports dually to the president of OHSU and CEO of OHSU Partners and works closely with the dean of the School of Medicine and President of the Faculty Practice Plan as well as other leaders to develop and execute strategic initiatives impacting the way we deliver care to our patients.
As we welcome Mitch to OHSU we’d be remiss to not thank Tim Goldfarb and Cindy Grueber for serving in this role in an interim capacity while we searched for a permanent replacement.
